Heisman x Blue Whale x Crossfire
This is our third crop out of Heisman and we believe we have kept the best one to date. Smoke is a full sib to the champion lightweight at American Royal 15' shown by Kamden Urban and the Grand at Denver 16' shown by Bailee Amstutz. Backed by a pedigree that is as consistent as they come, we are confident this guy will produce lambs that find the background as well. Smoke is as close to his daddy that we have made, with a better loin and bigger hip and fuzzy as all get out!

CompanyWe thought this buck was right for the times and would also compliment our ewes well with his momma's gentic background.
From the first time I saw him I thought he could never look better later. Well after 4 trips through the spring and summer I was wrong. He never had a day when I wasn't totally please with his design and muscle. He is a moderate framed, busted open, heavy muscled, structure freak, and oh, if it gets you excited, tons of wool. He is one I like to stand at the fence and watch walking the pen. I spent most of the summer fantasizing about the upcoming lamb crop out of him. To our dismay he wasn't fertile til October. We were fortunate not to give up on him and got 20 of uur best ewes ai ed to him, Oct 2 and then bred him to 40 of our best ewe lambs for march and april babies. We invite you to stop in and inspect them this coming year. Thanks to Rule Sheep Company for offering us part of this exciting ram!

Arms Race x Young Jock x ODF
Semen Now Available - Call for pricing!
Ram lamb purchased in Brian's early ram sale sired by Arms Race and dammed by a Young Jock x ODF daughter. He was selected for his overall body design, hip, and leg shape. A very trendy, moderate ram that we think can cross well with our older ewe base.

Bird (Stud Duck x Stizlein) x (Pony x Stud Ducks Twin Sister)
QRNN
Semen Now Available - Call for pricing!
We selected this young ram lamb from Hindman club lambs. He is really genetically lined up as he is sired by Bird (Stud duck x Stitzlein) and dammed by Stud Ducks Sister. He is really a cool bodied, good legged lamb, with the muscle shape and dimension that Hindmans sheep are noted for. He is big butted with the right curvature to his leg to be really impressive. Yet he remains impressive to look at running around the lot. We are really excited to use him on our Unleaded genetics that we have added in the last 2 years. The only thing to hold him back will be how many ewes he can settle!

Coco Puff
Skidgel Tag 49
Rubber Ducky x Addiction
Our goal this past spring buck shopping was to find a buck that would keep up with today's current trend, yet consistently sire blue ones. Lucky for us we found him at Skidgels and he still had his tools! Looking farther into pedigree we found out that we own his mom's twin sister, who has kicked out a single killer ewe lamb every spring for us. CoCo has the touch of past generation sheep; but with today's body trends, round rib shape, and fuzz. Huge expressive rack with a great loin and leg shape. White or black? Either way we dig this guy! Stop by next spring to buy your natty as he seen heavy use!

Heisman x Pimp Juice x Lottery Pick

A March buck lamb out of a ewe lamb who's grandma raised the Reserve Grand at the ISF in 2009. The biggest hipped and loined Heisman we raised last year. One that runs uphill, shallow chested, and freaky hard muscled. To say we are excited to line him back up on Heisman daughters is an understatement. A farm favorite from visitors this past spring.

Impact Tag 107
Giddy Up x Arms Race x Young Jock (Shower Chicken's Flushmate) |
Study this one from the ground up and you can see why we like him. Super sound on his feet and legs, stout in his structure, big racked and even bigger hipped and legged. This March buck was purchased from Impact Hamps and is out of Giddy Up (Burn son) on Shower Chicken's Flush Sister. Hes moderate in his design and one you love the side profile of. He will be put to work on Heisman daughters as well as back on our Arms Race son 48.

Heisman x Homeboy x 6-Pack
|
Our keeper Heisman son out of the flush group. His Homeboy dam was a show ewe in 2012 and is a center piece to our flock. This guy is huge in his rack, round in his rib shape, and stouter than his sire is almost every angle. This cross flat out works! We are excited to put him to work to follow in his daddy's footsteps and lay down a fantastic maternal line.

Just So You Know
Cat's Pajamas x Turtleman
If you know Mike, you know how he got his name. After the success of using Blue Whale we went back to Hindman's for another dose. This buck may not be the trendy hamp type that lots of people are following, but I believe he is as cool of a blue ram as I have seen. He's my kind of sheep. He is awesome in his extension and look from the side, yet maintains as good of handle down his top and rump as any of the hamp sheep out there. He has the wool cap on his face and around his eyes, with good bone and hair to his legs. When you get tired of working those soft handling, average hides ones, that quit on you at 125 come see us and the JSUK lambs. I believe that these will just flat out feed!

Berry Farms 173
Heisman x Skidgel 186 (Live Action x Tonic)
This is our pick of the 2014 ram lambs sired by Heisman. Although a mid March lamb he is getting serious attention in the breeding program already. He carries his daddy's atheletic look and style, with more loin shape,a bigger hip, and more bone to stand on. His mom is the ewe lamb we purchased in Skidgel's 2013 ewe lamb sale as lot 2. Brian's description included the words donor several times and I believe that's where she is headed. There is a multitude of genetics in her that tie in tight with what we are doing.

Foul Ball
Fowl x Stud Duck (Ficticious' dam)
A ram lamb from Middlesworth sired by Fowl and dammed by a Stud Duck Daughter (Ficticious' Dam) We feel this ewe family has some great features and genetics that have worked for us already. He is extremely good boned and structured, with a super square loin and big hip in him. |

Unleaded x Crip

Purchased 1\2 interest from Rule Sheep Company
This RRNN ram is a product of Unleaded and the Crip ewe from Skidgels that was Reserve Breeding Ewe at 2011 OYE. We have really liked the Unleaded gentics that we have used in our flock and think this guy could be the best of all. He is one of the biggest racked lambs sird by Unleaded with a very square loin and huge hhip. He maintains all that muscle in a cool package that really makes you in awe of him in the pen.

Stuff (Trunk x Wooly Mammouth) x Leo Grandaughter
Thanks to James Duffy for working with us to get this ram. He is an outcross for us that is extremely wide based, thick loined, heavy boned ram that we feel can work well on our bigger framed ewes. He is sired by Stuff[Trunk x Wooly Mammouth] and dammed by a double bred leo grandaughter. He will get a true test for 2013.

Crossfire
Johnson 1001
Pistol x Trigger
This Pistol x Trigger ram is really lined up. After being so pleased with the Johnson 230 ram we went back again this year. This ram's baby picture really intrigued me, and after seeing him and watching him grow, I have never been more pleased with a ram. He has changed very little from a 40 lb lamb to the stud he is today. He is very long bodied, with one of the best top lines you can make, he is just as attractive in the lot as in the photos. This ram is the most massive loined and best rumped ram we have used to date. He has tons of shape and width to his hip, yet has more inner and outer leg shape than you can imagine.

Contraband
BF 7961
Unleaded x (Rising Star x High Hopes)
RRNN
We leased Unleaded from Rules for the 2012 season after the succcess we had in 2011 with him. Contraband is our choice of his sons in 2012 to keep in the flock. He is a shaggy legged, big ended sheep that still has some grow and look about him. His full sister was our favorite ewe lamb from 2011. His dam is a moderate framed Rising star x High hopes daughter.

Blue Boy
Unleaded x 298

This guy was a stud a birth! His mother is a 298 x Scooby daughter. His dam is the twin sister to the Grand at 2005 California State Fair. Blue Boy is a big boned, big hipped, cool bodied buck with some shag.

Home Boy

This ram should sire some awesome Suffolks. He is deep bodied with lots of bone, very trendy in his overall shape, and moderate in his frame size. He is the most impressive of the Unleaded rams when handled.

Big Foot
Ceasar x Tahoe
RRNN
Sold to Trent Tomlinson
We purchased Big Foot as lot 21 on America's Top Twenty Sale. Big Foot (aka "Old Garret" or G23) sired Karr's Grand Champion at Aksarben last year as well as their entire set of the Super Select 50 sale a couple weeks ago that were well received (average $1400 on 10 head). He is also the sire of Karrs "The Garrett Buck". The bucks we they will use in 2013 will be 2 sons and 1 grandson. These genetics are rare, and if he doesn't add muscle and bone and widen your ewes loin edges---use them as receps.
Photo of Big Foot was taken 6-6-12

Unleaded X Blue Cabaniss

Champ's mom was the ewe lamb we showed in 2008 that was Grand Market Ewe at the 2008 Iowa State Fair FFA Show. Champ is a really cool looking and hard muscled ram. He has a ton of rack and leg shape to him. I expect his lambs to be easy to feed. He is the most expressive of the Unleaded sons we kept in 2010.

Revive
Chaos x High Hopes
Our pick of the Chaos sons. His daddy did a fantastic job breeding, but due to a freak lightning storm in Sep. we lost him.
This son handles like the sheep we raised 5 years ago that had the big racks and great touch. In addition he has a lot of bone, grow power, a great loin shape, and tremendous length of side.
My favorite thing about him is I like him phenotypically, but love his genetic background even more. His mom was the twin sister to the 2004 Reserve Division 4 at the State Fair and Reserve Division 5 at Ak-sarben. She was sired by High Hopes. His mothers dam had the 2005 Grand Lamb at the Iowa State Fair.

Lottery Pick
A Leverage Son. This ram has tremendous skeletal structure. He is extremely long bodied, with heavy bone under him, yet still has that showring eye appeal and extension up thru the front end. He will see approx. 75 ewes and ewe lambs for the 2006 season.
